ISSUE 1 : "But first, introductions..."
This is my first post, in the journal so I figured introductions were in order.

Hi! My name is Natalie Rathman, and my life is a little on the unconventional side. I'm a thirty-something year old based in sunny Scottsdale, AZ. I have two fur babies named Zanzibar and Zoey who are the little lights of my life....
…I’m obsessed with animals, the ocean, sorta but not really vegan, don’t really drink, and cope with Perrier and chocolate.
Most importantly, I'm married to a rather rad man named Brad who manages a copper mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo until further notice. They keep promoting him, so we keep going with this odd lifestyle. With my husband's crazy job we are able to do a lot of amazing traveling which has helped stir up some of my newer passions.
This lifestyle has allowed me a lot of freedom. Not just to travel, but to more recently begin focusing on my passions and dreams and goals. In September of 2018, I took my love for photography and home decor and spun into a fun little online shop. I sell my photography and global treasures from around the world such as like Moroccan & Turkish rugs, kilim and cactus silk pillow covers, block print rugs, and hand made and vintage finds from our travels.
So, here are some of our adventures. I will share my "do"s, "don't"s, and "wish we would have"s.
You'll experience my evolution as a traveler... and a photographer. haha. You can definitely tell when I began to take photography more seriously and my love for it began to grow!
