ISSUE 59: Launching 'The Compulsive Traveler' Shop

I can’t believe i have finally made the plunge in launching my own photography collection and eclectic line of Bohemian inspired home decor.

I recently decided to start offering my photographic prints in assorted sizes on 100% cotton archival Hahnemühle rag paper. I figured since I was starting an online store again (I had one several years ago selling women’s wear), I might as well go all in. I sprung into action shopping for decor from around the globe. Turkish Kilim Pillow Covers. Moroccan Berber Rugs. Indian Block Print Rugs. Etc. As these items come in I will announce their release with a post right here.

So, what is The Compulsive Traveler all about?

It’s about individuality, specialty, travel, adventure, nature, and creativity. I’ve created this brand knowing that one of the best parts will be the uniqueness of each item I sell. Everything I choose to bring on will benefit those making it or our planet in one form or another. The items I have chosen to sell are re-purposed. Re-purposed find contribute to less waste and less pollution, a healthier planet overall. I purchase these repurposed items or items made using repurposed materials from small business owners in Morocco, Turkey, India, and the UK as of right now.

As I continue to grow my business, my focus will continue stay focused on helping other entrepreneurs around the world, the well-being of our planet, and finding unique items.

As an added measure I have decided that 5% of every order will be donated to charity:water to help people around the globe have a source of clean water no matter their location or background.

I look forward to sharing my business with you and the journey this takes us on.

Sincerely,

Natalie
